quietly confident. on a journey. love to love.

Last night I had a pretty crazy dream about living in this bohemian tree house. I guess the fact that I’ve been thinking about how I'm getting older and don’t own anything has been making me feel vulnerable and a bit of a loser but I know my time will come and my dreams will flourish -  every 8 year olds dreams of having a tree house. My sister and I would climb on this particularly tall pine tree in our backyard it didn’t have a house of course but we'd climb on the thick branches and pretend like it was our little home away from everyone. I think that was the beginning of our imagination, Thanks Toppenish. Now that I'm older I still wouldn't mind packing my bags and moving in to a large tree house, but my vision of a dream home has changed. As so many ladies out there, I like white spaces. Because I want to be able to have a fresh feel, be able to breathe, and have the possibility to change things up. These are some random pictures from my huge stack of inspiration images that I keep in hopes of magically transforming my house (someday). Guidelines: deconstructed or industrial walls, heavy lamps, black, white, hints of color, no clutter, good wood and a combination of modern and worn out! Perfecto!

I need to get on it!

Bjorg 2011
Pictures of jewelry, like the ones above, fascinates me. One of my goals this year is to start my jewelry collection.
Some of my current obsessions are chunky rings, chains and simple draping jewelry. The picture below is not from Bjorg. Just a pic I came across.

This model is badass and very beauitful. I really
enjoyed looking thru her fotos and reading about her.
                                                           Love all her origianl tattoos.

Today Today Today...

Yes, I am back in Cancun. Ughh my crazy life! I'm blessed but at the same time always feeling the need to be home. I just need to RELAX enjoy my days carelessly, breathe and write like crazy for a girls book on how to survive at least it will have some sort of outlook on that . I do need to find a job this time around so that I can make some money on the side and do all those things I want to do without feeling like a true wreck. I try to imagine myself back in the states working and having my own place with is really what i want. But it’s so o funny how i keep going back home and keep finding myself in different countries. It’s like the energy of my destiny doesn’t allow me to stay put at least I see it that way. I want to live perhaps someone else’s life but i need to live my own. Someday i will go back to college maybe not now but it is in my plans. I guess I’m just very passionate right now about being here with a special little someone that has me,  so comfortable so happy, so giving and affectionate. He is such a beautiful person to me. Right now I suppose I just can let these feeling go. This right now is my dream. Will I regret missing out on so much... I don’t know? Probably. But this is what I keep coming back to and it has to be for something… Right? I feel fine. I feel good. I feel great.  We just need to accept our situations and our life be it our own and not others!

Bohemian Rhaspody... What a hit!

Everything Bohemian

I tend to be a free soul, always speaking my mind, following the person that I have created in my head and in my world. There is no better feeling than being yourself and being at a comfortable level with your life were you accept all things as they are.
I love how all the color mixture looks together especially when it’s vintage. Very excited to go back home and start doing some bead work and of course scrapbooking my all-time favorite thing to do when I'm bored. I'll be busy that's for sure I have pics from Spain, Portugal and Mexico that I haven’t developed just yet... Ughhh! I want to be in Seattle already, supposedly my boyfriend bought me my ticket this morning but I don’t believe him. I'm waiting for him to wake up to confirm this! I must know so that I can give the news to my sisters already!
Don’t forget to liberate yourself from madness and all that negative energy! One Love.

Romantic Makeup; Keep it light!

For this soft but still dressed-up look, outline only the upper lash line with liner, then gently smudge up the outer half with the spongy tip of your pencil.

Bedhead, a look thatt looks like you've been rolling in the sheet? Yeah, that's the intention. To re-create it, mist wet hair with salt spray then dry.

Brushing white eyeshadow on along the inner corners of your eyes gives you an instant twinkle-in-your-eye look that you can cop in less than 30 seconds.

Downtown From Behind...

Downtown From Behind is a photo project - "New Yorkers ride their bikes through the streets of lower Manhattan"
The photographs are taken by Bridget Fleming who moved to the Lower East Side from Australia in 2008. She hopes to capture "the heartbeat of New York" through the city's most creative residents - writers, designers, chefs, models, musicians, entrepreneurs and actors.
“It’s a nonportrait portrait,” Ms. Fleming said. “The shots are composed as if the biker has center stage, but the street and the whole collection are the stars.”

I love crusing on bikes, I really need to buy myself one. When I went to San Diego, I rented one for 10 bucks and I've been wanting one ever since, here is a pic of the one I want either in beige or black.
