Cinco de Mayo!

I wish I was in the states to celebrate Cinco de Mayo… bummer! It defiantly a day to go out to new and your ole' spots and mingle with friends and strangers! Have a couple of tequilas and call in the next day – don’t say you haven’t on this date!? Dont you dare... say you haven't! pah!

Cinco de Mayo is the US celebration of Mexican heritage and pride and to honor the cause of freedom and democracy during the first years of the American Civil War. In the state of Puebla, the date is observed to pay tribute to the Mexican army unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguin.

Cinco de Mayo is NOT Mexico's Independence Day the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico is independence day which is on September 16th.

Have a Margarita you deserve it!

 Cheers!
